Railroad reconstruction is divided into five sections: section 1.1 - Railway line no. 226 from km 12.893 to km 15.509 including Gdańsk Port Północny station section 1.2 - Railway line no. 965 from km 0.141 to km 1.875 including Gdańsk Kanał Kaszubski station and connecting track between Gdańsk Kanał Kaszubski station and Gdańsk Port Północny station. Section 1.3 - Railway line no. 965 from km 1.875 to km 3.376 2.4 Gdańsk Vistula River km 2.2631 to 3.656 Section 1.4 - Track no. 54 connecting Gdańsk Port Północny station with the Ferry Terminal at Obrońców Westerplatte Wharf and Extension of district road no. 2138G ul. Ku Ujściu from km 0+000.00 to km 0+655.58 (working kilometer), together with the construction of a viaduct over the northern turnout head of the Kanał Kaszubski railroad station and accompanying roads forming a traffic junction.
As the main subcontractor of earthworks, our task was to perform:
● demolition of old railroad infrastructure buildings, fences and streets
● working platforms for piling rigs
● reinforcement of the subsoil by soil replacement
● embankments and excavations
Quantities performed:
● Excavations - approx. 165,000 m3
● Embankments - approx. 500,000 m3
