The main objective envisaged for section D, is the construction of a connector in the new track , which will bypass the city of Kartuzy from the east and connect the northern head of Kartuzy station with railroad line No. 229. The construction of this connector will enable trains from Koscierzyna to Tricity to enter and leave Kartuzy station without changing the head of the train.
Our scope of work includes:
● soil replacement - about 25,000 m3
● excavations - about 40,000 m3
● embankments - about 60,000 m3
● slope protection with steel nets and geogrids - about 60,000 m2
● construction of working platforms for piling - about 40,000 m2
● construction of protective layers - about 40,000 m2
