As the main subcontractor for earthworks and construction, our task was to perform the reconstruction, modernization and construction of streets and railroad tracks in the area of the Northern Port in Gdansk. Portowa, Budowniczych Portu Północnego and Kapitana Witolda Poinca streets were rebuilt, as well as railroad tracks No. 712 and 901. New Portowa Street was built on the section from the intersection with Kontenerowa Street to Portowa Street, as well as railroad tracks No. 702, 704, 706, 148, 150 and 800. Kontenerowa Street will be expanded to a 2×2 cross-section. The total length of the completed roads was approximately 4,700 m.
Within the scope of the task, we performed works including:
● excavation with disposal of excavated material
● embankments with delivery of material
● transport of road and railroad aggregates
● delivery of humus with incorporation
● demolition work
● construction of construction layers
● reinforcement of the subsoil by soil replacement
